The Dalton family began in Colleton County, S.C. and resided in Charleston, SC until the death of Joseph Dalton.
Catherine Gagen Dalton then moved to Athens, Georgia to be near her daughter, JoAnne Lawhorn.
Elizabeth Dalton married J Roger McCauley of Boston, Mass. on 30 January 1964.
They relocated to Virginia area before transferring overseas Elizabeth and Roger now are settled in Southwest Virginia.
